Throughout the weekend, visitors are invited to plunge into the fascinating world of arts and crafts through a series of demonstrations and activities. From ceramics to basketry, marquetry to leatherwork, all forms of craftsmanship are featured, revealing the ingenuity and know-how of the artisans present.

Each edition of the Fête des Métiers d’Art also highlights the close links between Villedieu-les-Poêles and other French towns renowned for their crafts. The little tourist train, which runs free of charge through the historic town, also offers an original way to discover the charms of the Métiers d’Art district, from Place de la République to Rue Gambetta.
