Set in the rolling countryside of southern Manche, Jardin du Cassel is a haven of peace and beauty. Created by Martine, a former music teacher, this 3600 m² garden is a subtle composition of mixed borders, rose gardens, small ponds and waterways. Every corner of the garden invites serenity and contemplation.
Since its opening in 1992, the garden has evolved into a space rich in floral diversity and landscaping. Visitors can stroll between beds of trees, shrubs, perennials and old roses, while admiring the decorative objects and garden furniture that adorn the site. After your visit, you can relax with a cup of tea, coffee or soft drink in the garden's tearoom.
Le Jardin du Cassel also has a boutique open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm to 6:30pm, where Martine sells garden decorations, pergolas, wrought-iron arches and mobiles, as well as beautifully staged antiques.
The garden can be visited from early May to late September, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 2 to 6.30pm, as well as on certain Sundays. Also for special events, such as the plant fair every Whit Monday and the craft market on the second Sunday in September.
