As part of the Histoire(s) d?en découdre storytelling festival, supported by the Département de la Manche :
Céline Ripoll: legends of the Pacific.
One day in 2005, Céline set off in search of a legend. That of a warrior with a face tattooed only on one side, Nikorima.
In the Marquesas, she collected the spoken word, oral tradition, ancient songs and dance gestures. The legend led her to Easter Island, where she settled.
The author of numerous collections and albums, and founder of Moai éditions, she takes us on a voyage of discovery of the cultures of Oceania, which are all too often little-known.
Animals of the Pacific.
In Australia, the wombat is too hot to drink and is looking for water. But in Papua, the crocodile is too cold, so it seeks fire. With a flap of its wings or a flick of its fins, we travel from island to island to discover the exploits, tricks and adventures of our furry, feathered and scaly friends!
Duration: 1 hour.
Age: 5+.
